Root vegetables

Root vegetables are plant roots used as vegetables. Here root means any underground part of a plant  (except that peanuts, which are underground seeds, are seldom called root vegetables).

Stem vegetables

Stem vegetables are vegetables (in the broadest sense, a group of plants) grown for their underground parts (ie, despite the title not just thestem), which are used as food or feed.

Leaf vegetables

Leafy vegetables are vegetables, which are eating at the leaf or stem. This vegetable is usually eaten raw in salads different. The most interesting effect of this vegetable is that regular consumption may reduce cancer risk. Leafy vegetables contain chlorophyll. Examples of leafy greens: spinach, cabbage, kale, lettuce, etc.

Flower vegetables

Broccoli has large flower heads, usually green in color, arranged in a tree-like fashion on branches sprouting  from a thick, edible stalk. The mass of flower heads is surrounded by leaves. Many varieties of broccoli are perennial. Broccoli most closely resembles cauliflower, which is a different cultivar group of the same species.

Bulb vegetables

Onions may be grown from seed or, more commonly today, from sets started from seed the previous year. Onion sets are produced by sowing seed very thickly one year, resulting in stunted plants that produce very small bulbs.

Peas beans

Pod-shaped vegetable, widely grown as a cool season vegetable crop. The seeds may be planted as soon as the soil temperature reaches 10 °C (50 °F), with the plants growing best at temperatures of 13 to 18 °C (55 to 64 °F).  Peas grow best in slightly acidic, well-drained soils.

Botanical fruits

Botanical fruits (tomatoes, pepper, cucumber etc.) are often grown in greenhouses  in cooler climates, and a number of cultivars grown in Siberia that are specifically bred for indoor growing. In more temperate climates, it is not uncommon to start seeds in greenhouses during the late winter for future transplant.
