Onion Hiberna

Allium cepa (Lat.) - Yellow, Overwintering

A high-yielding overwintering variety, with a big round to slightly flattened bulb and a medium-thick collar. The flesh is white, consistent, and has a very pleasant taste. The bulbs are big and covered with a yellow brown to bronze brown colour, with darker marbling. Plants overwinter well. It can be cropped with the scallion-as green onion or as both fresh and dry onion. Only short-time storage ability.
